Welcome to the bell inn, lower heyford
Our historic village pub has a cosy yet spacious interior spread across several rooms and is close to the Oxford Canal. The Bell Inn, Lower Heyford, boasts the best range of local ales and farmhouse ciders in the area, together with an eclectic wine and spirit list.
Walkers, boaters, dogs and children are all equally welcomed. Our five indoor rooms each have a unique character ranging from the informal bar and cosy snug to the light and airy family room and the intimacy of our Rousham Room.
In warmer weather we have a wonderful, large, leafy garden seating up to 170 with both traditional pub benches and a series of responsibly sourced teak tables & chairs. NEW for 2024 we now also boast a summer marquee available for pre-booked dining and functions, seating up to 40pp - for which its own private bar and barbeque may be booked by larger groups
We’re open Wednesdays to Sundays with food available at both lunchtime and evenings. We are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays
Our kitchen reopens on Friday 3rd May with a classic pub menu but also features our very own Sausage Man from Seoul!
